Perched along a dramatic ridgeline high above the Malibu canyons, this glass pavilion residence commanded sweeping views from the mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Conceived as a light, hovering structure, the home dissolved the boundary between interior and landscape through massive sliding glass walls that fully opened the main living spaces to the horizon. A cantilevered, infinity-edge pool projected outward toward the ocean, while a serene pool room and freestanding soaking tub framed the view as a daily ritual. A subtly curved ceiling concealed structure and lifted the eye upward, amplifying the sense of boundless sky and water. Tragically, the residence was lost in the Palisades Fire, but its vision of effortless, horizon-driven living endures.
